The third runner-up is Anaira Naidu, who is always kind and caring in all she does, especially in room 14.
Western Heights School is blessed to have a whole heap of amazing, awesome, caring, supportive, kind and helpful parents. We are grateful to you all. However, this year, we have noticed one parent standing out in all these things. This man is always greeting children, encouraging and supporting them, helping out other parents - particularly within our Chinese parent community, picking up rubbish and he is never without a huge, beaming smile. This year, we had a big group of students from the 'I Wish' school in China come and spend a couple of weeks with us at Western Heights. This dad was here every day to support them and us and did a brilliant job. He even postponed an important business trip to Australia so he could be here to support the I Wish students and teachers on their last day. So it is time to officially honour and thank this man - Gordon Chen, recipient of the first ever Parent Kindness Cup.
