Still More Cool Catch-Ups:
Birthdays are special for our children, and most really look forward to receiving their card from me. Some start reminding me their birthday is "soon" months ahead of time and give me daily reminders a week or two out. One little guy held onto his all day and wouldn't put it down. I have heard some have kept theirs and made a mini collection of them.
This year, I will give out almost 100 birthday cards to children having birthdays during the Christmas holidays—hopefully, I won't miss anyone!

Daniel made a cool Christmas diorama.
This awesome creature was hanging out on the carpentry table this morning when Sharon unpacked it. Room 15 figured out that it was a Huhu beetle. It’s endemic to NZ and our heaviest beetle. It doesn’t eat, so it only lives for two weeks. Although it can deliver a pretty painful bite if threatened, it isn’t poisonous.
We all had a look before releasing her into the bush which was child free.
Cyrus won a Ten Pin Bowling Trophy - with an outstanding
score of 246 in his final game.
Evanie, Samadhi and Jorja made a cool poster of beautiful animals - with their English and Māori names.
