Modular Kinder Building Delivery – Traffic & Access Impacts Next Week

We are pleased to advise that the delivery of the new modular kindergarten building is scheduled to commence next week. Deliveries will take place daily from approximately 10:00am each morning.

Due to the size and nature of the deliveries, there will be temporary traffic and parking impacts in and around the school site. Families and staff are asked to be especially mindful of the following:

• Northern Staff Car Park: will be closed to allow safe access for delivery vehicles and contractors.
• Kiewa Close & Gate C precinct: heavy haul vehicle movement is expected in the immediate street frontage near the kinder site, including reduced accessibility and temporary delays.

• Afternoons: More significant traffic disruption is anticipated during afternoon pickup times due to ongoing site movements and vehicle staging requirements.

   

We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience and thank our community in advance for exercising patience and care during this important stage of our kinder facility upgrade. Please allow extra time for drop-off and pick-up, follow any temporary signage or staff directions, and, where possible consider alternative parking arrangements.

Mother's Day Stall Thanks CHAPs (and Dads!)

Yesterday, our parents' association, CHAPs, held its annual Mother's Day stall. Proudly, I've previously shared that CHAPs play a wonderful role in providing services to the community, fundraising, and community events (like the Colour Run). As always, the stall was a great success and another reflection on our volunteer group's ability to both provide a service to our community and a fundraising event. 

Next Monday evening, our School Captains are scheduled to attend CHAPs' monthly meeting to seek funding from CHAPs' fundraising endeavours for their 2026 student-led project - watch this space!

Thank you to CHAPs for their organisation and the volunteers for their time. It was great to see so many dads volunteering!
