Term 1 at POPS has been filled with learning, growth, and achievement.
Our students have demonstrated remarkable dedication, mastering new skills in mathematics, science, physical education, and the arts. Their enthusiasm and perseverance shine through in every classroom.
Equally, our staff go beyond teaching, they are advocates and mentors, providing unwavering support and fostering a nurturing environment where students thrive. We are truly grateful for their dedication and the positive impact they have on our school community.
Our POPS Choir delivered a wonderful performance, singing two songs under the direction of Mrs Bowen. Well done to all our talented singers! Thanks to members of the school community who came to support our choir. The POPS Choir will be performing at the final assembly on Friday at 2pm.
Thanks to 3O for helping move the mulch to the area cleared between the Rainbow Playground and Gym. Great work Ms Owen and class!
POPS Chess Team: A huge congratulations to our POPS Chess Team, Marx H, Lincoln P, Alexander V, Lawrence Z, Patrick N, Ben R, Austin W, Anara H, Ben N, Henry H, Zein A and Jeffery N, who competed this week at Kangaroo Ground PS. The team performed exceptionally well, securing second place overall, with many impressive individual achievements along the way. Well done to all our players!
Norwood SC Year 7 Breakfast: It was a joy to catch up with former POPS students Tilly, Cooper, and Ashton over breakfast this week. They shared their experiences of secondary school, making new friends, exploring new subjects, taking on leadership roles, and managing homework. We love seeing our past students thrive and wish them continued success!
Have a safe break,
Ms Garrity
