NAPLAN Results

Today families who have children in grades 3 and 5 will receive their NAPLAN results in Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation and Numeracy, measured against national benchmarks. NAPLAN tests are a snapshot and just one form of assessment used by our school. It does not replace or override the extensive ongoing assessments our grade 3 and 5 teachers collect to ascertain student performance and inform lesson planning. In the coming weeks staff will look at and discuss these results and look at areas we can celebrate and identify areas which may require extra attention in our planning or teaching.
Fundraising -Cookie Drive
Earlier this week students recieved a cookie order form for this years cookie drive. If you would like to order cookies please return forms and payment on or before Friday 24th of July (Term 2, week 2). If you require another order form please call into the office.

Stop Work Thursday 23rd July
The AEU has planned a Stop Work for next Thursday 23rd July. I anticipate our school will be greatly affected, similar to the last stop work day in March- but I will not be able to send confirmation details until early next week. Please note our staff are not considering this lightly. We thank the community for their support and understanding.
