Moorabbin District Swimming Carnival
Well done to the Ormond Primary School Swim Team on their terrific performances at the Moorabbin District Swimming Carnival. We had a great day at GESAC finishing 6th overall.
A huge congratulations to Evan L (5K) who won the 11yo Boys 50m Freestyle, and placed 2nd in the 11yo Boys Butterfly. Evan will now go on to represent the District at the Division Swimming Carnival.
Other notable efforts were Brian S (6V) who finished 2nd in the 11yo Boys Breaststroke, and Harvey T (6D) who placed 3rd in the 12yo Butterfly. Well done!
Year 6 Kayaking (Paddle Victoria) @ Karkarook Park
Year 6 will have their second session of open water kayaking at Karkarook Park on Tuesday 18 March.
Each Year 6 will participate in a 90-minute session on the day where they will learn some first aid, water safety and kayaking skills. The sessions are conducted by Paddle Victoria with fully qualified and highly experienced instructors. Students will be required to bring snacks, drinks, lunch, hats, sunscreen, towels, appropriate footwear and some dry clothes to change into on the day.

Wednesday 26 March from 9.30am to 1.30pm @ Duncan McKinnon Athletics Track
Ormond Primary School's annual House Athletics Carnival is being held at Duncan McKinnon Athletics Track on Wednesday 26 March. Results from the day will aid in the selection of the OPS District Athletics Squad.
The Moorabbin District Athletics will be held at Duncan McKinnon Athletics track in Term 3 on Monday 08 September.
Year 3 & 4 Class Swimming Program
The Years 3 & 4 Class Swimming Program will begin on Monday 24 March at Starfish Swim School, Bentleigh West.
