JUNIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Bennett Thomson

Junior Sub School Manager

The Junior Sub-School is flying towards the end of the term. It has been a busy term but at the same time we have had students have a really enjoyable time in class and on various camps and excursions. Our Year 8 cohort had an incursion for their science class which was greatly attended by all. The students were commended on their behaviour and willingness to engage in the content lead by Deakin University.

Another fantastic event at the college over this Term has been the school production ‘High School Musical’. Several students in our Sub-School played roles within the production and it was great to see. There was high praise for the students and hopefully there are many more productions for these students.

There are a few things coming up in the last week of Term 3 and first weeks of Term 4. Firstly, our Year 7 students will be heading to Melbourne Zoo on September 14 for the day. It will be a lovely opportunity for them to experience the Zoo and learn more about the world we live in. We then finish next Friday at 1:30pm with our holidays commencing. We as a Junior Sub-School would like to wish all students and parents a restful break and we look forward to seeing you all in Term 4.
