Extra-Curricular News- Violin Instrumental Program
Well done to the following violin students who represented the school at the
Leo Phan (4W)- String Solo: Grade 1
Alison Hua (6G)- String Solo: Grade 2-3
Gabrielle Cruz (6W)- String Solo: Grade 2-3
Nina Gai (4W)- String Solo: Grade 4
Congratulations to Alison who was awarded 3rd place in the Grade 2-3 division, and to Nina who was awarded an Encouragement Award in the Grade 4 division!
In the City of Ryde Eisteddfod 2025, Nina Gai (4W) achieved a Highly Commended award in the String Solo category (Grade 4 and under)- well done Nina!
Congratulations to Gabrielle Cruz (6W) who was awarded her Violin Grade 3 Comprehensive Examination Certificate from AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board)!

Amelia Tan (5W)
Amelia Tan went to Melbourne on Friday 24th October to compete in the Pan Pacific Kids IBJJF Championships on Sunday 26th October.
Amelia's win in her first match took her to the finals in which she took 2nd place (silver) . Congratulations Amelia on such a great achievement and good luck on your back-to-back competitions.
Sebastian Tama
On Sunday 26th of October 2025 Sebastian Tama competed in his first ever Pan Pacific Kids IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Sebastian was up against an undefeated champion and the fight he put up surprising competitors and coaches alike, only allowing the undefeated champion to win by 2 points.
Sebastian received silver in his division which is an outstanding achievement. Wel done
