Sports News

Congratulations to Millie Gardiner (Year 1) who represented St Mary’s at the Geelong Show Interschool Event. Millie placed first in the Rider Prep to Grade 2 class and achieved second place in the Saddle Pony class, an outstanding effort! Well done, Millie, on your wonderful results and dedication to your riding.
Athletics
We’d like to wish Isabelle Cartledge, Jack Hitchings, and Alfie Hall all the very best as they head to the State Athletics Championships next Thursday, 6th November at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.
Isabelle will be competing in the 11-year-old Girls Discus, Jack in the 11-year-old Boys Triple Jump, and Alfie in the 11-year-old Boys High Jump.
This is an amazing achievement, and we’re so proud of their effort, commitment, and sportsmanship. Good luck, team — we’ll all be cheering you on from St. Mary’s!
Basketball
We also had a two teams participate in the Colac Divisional basketball tournament at Blue Water. Both teams tried their hardest all day and both made the finals but bowed out in the Semi. The girls were unlucky, missing out in the OT. Well done to all involved.
