Term 3 Week 10
A Big Thank You to Our P&F Community! 💙
Thank you all for your continued support over the last few weeks of term. The P&F has been busy running our own events, as well as supporting a number of school events, and we truly appreciate everyone who has volunteered their time and helped along the way.
A very special thank you to Kathryn, who has supported all of our events and worked closely with school staff to help ensure our students have many exciting and memorable experiences throughout the term. Below are the events that have taken place over the last few weeks.
- R U Okay? The P & F were able to provide biscuit decorating items for school activity use.
- Footy Day Thank you to those that helped organise, cook and serve lunch.
- Colour Run 🌈🏃♀️🏃♂️The students had been waiting a long time for our very first colour run! Bianca and Hannah together with a large group of parents were able to organise this event as well as a lunch at the park. Special thanks to Angela for organising the permit via Darebin Council for holding the colour run at Pender’s Park. Lastly thanks to Ms Cameron for liaising with the P & F to ensure that this was a successful event.
We will announce our school profit early Term 4.
Rossmoyne Rummage- Sunday 18 October 2026
St. Mary’s will be participating in the Rossmoyne Rummage for the third time this year!
Thank you to those who have sent in donations for the Toys and Books Stall, we are still seeking donations; please send them into the office clearly marked Rossmoyne Rummage.
Below is a list of items we are currently seeking:

LEGO (complete sets preferred)
Jigsaw puzzles (new/unopened or complete sets only)
Board games (new/unopened or complete sets only)

Cars and trucks
Building blocks
❗ Please Note - To support our volunteers and ensure the success of the stall, we kindly ask that all donated items are:
Clean and in high-quality condition
Complete (no missing pieces)
Ready for resale
Being mindful of quality greatly assists our team with sorting, displaying, and packing down unsold items.
🚫 Soft toys will not be accepted

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Rossmoyne Rummage – Volunteers Needed! 🛍️
The Rossmoyne Rummage group, led by Emily, will be sorting through donations for our stall on the following dates:
📅 Tuesday 9 September📅 Tuesday 16 September📅 Thursday 18 September
We’ll meet after morning drop-off and would love some extra helping hands!
If you can make any of these times, please reach out to us via email or through your class reps.
Term 4 - Italian Day
In week 1, we will have our annual Italian day to celebrate the love of languages and all things Italian. The P&F will be organising a lunch for our students. Please see the flyer below for details as orders close this evening. This gives the organisers enough time to prepare for the event. There is also information shared by Ms Tania via NForma.
