Tomorrow we have our Father’s Day Breakfast for all students and their dads or special person. Breakfast starts at 7.30 am. There is also a Father’s Day Stall on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th of September. The children will need to bring some money. If your child happens to be away from school on Thursday, they can go to the stall on Friday after breakfast.

District Athletics

Today, the Year 3–6 students attended District Athletics, where they will compete against other schools for the chance to make it through to the division level. We wish everyone the best of luck and can’t wait to see the results!

Year 6 Leadership Day

On Wednesday 2nd of September, the Year 6 students went to St Louis for a Leadership Day. We learned about how to be a good leader, the importance of teamwork, and how to be positive role models for the younger students.

Celebration of Learning

Just a reminder Wednesday 16th of September at 8:45am, the F-6's are sharing what we have learnt this term in our Celebration of Learning! Mark it in your calendar! We are looking forward to it!

The F–2 students participated in the ‘Seaweed Sally Incursion’ on Monday.  They had lots of fun learning about sea animals. Here is what they had to say!

Jai (FE): I enjoyed learning about sea life and seeing animals like sea urchins, starfish and crabs. I especially liked the crab because he was carrying his shell. Everyone had a fun time!

Evelyn (FE): We got to touch real sea animals, which I didn’t really like because I had never seen them before. I really liked seeing the turtle and the whale bone. Everyone in my class enjoyed it!

Leromo(2A): We learned about lots of sea animals, including sea urchins and baby eels. I liked the incursion because it was fun and taught us many new things. I would recommend it to others!

Teddy  (2A): I really liked seeing the real sea animals, including sea urchins, starfish, sea sponges and crabs. I also liked seeing the whale bones. Most of my class enjoyed the incursion and wanted to stay longer!

We had so much fun at our Book Week Parade last week.  Everyone's costumes were amazing. We loved Mrs Sullivan as Cruella de Vil.  We thought the puppies were cute but Mr Cochrane and Glenn as the bumbling brothers may have stolen the show!

A BIG congratulations to Flynn and Mason who won their Football Grand Final playing for Mordi-Brae on Sunday 30th of August.

They played the top team and dominated on the day winning by 30 points!

Flynn was awarded Best on Ground by the umpires.  Sadly Mason missed the game because he was overseas, but the team wouldn't have made it to the finals without him.

Well done Flynn and Mason!  We are super proud of you.

A BIG congratulations to Torin and his Dingley Dingoes Teammates on their Grand Final win in the Uder 12 Premiership on the weekend.

Well done Torin!  We are really proud of your efforts.  At this rate we may have some future AFL stars.  Did you know Tim Taranto went to St Brigid's?

A BIG congratulations to Oscar and his water polo team who also won their Water Polo Grand Final on the weekend. Oscar was awarded most valuable player after shooting an amazing 5 goals.  What talented students we have here at St Brigid's.  That was a great effort Oscar! We are really proud of you too!
