Does your son play an instrument and learn outside of school? Please get in contact! Email performingarts@stpats.vic.edu.au
If we hear from you soon, we may even be able to include you in our Music Camp.
In Term 3 we will be launching our Rising Stars Concert Band and our Rising Stars Contemporary Band. A major project for the Concert Band will likely be a performance at the Victorian School Music Festival in November. An information session and “come and try” experience will be held around the middle of Term 2. Of course, you could get a head start with private lessons before the bands commence. Please email for more information.
We have two terrific new team members in the music department. As mentioned in the last edition of The Crest, Ms Mary Dyer a Flute, Oboe and Bassoon teacher has joined us. Bassoon and Oboe are very special instruments and we would love to see our high quality Oboes and Bassoon being used. Free trial lessons and instrument loans are available.
We are also pleased to announce that Holly de Jong has joined as our Brass Teacher. She also has availability for new and returning students on Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba. Once again, free trial lessons can be arranged for interested families. For any questions to relating to lessons on any instruments, please email performingarts@stpats.vic.edu.au
