NSWCPS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS 

Congratulations to Millicent Conaty, Rosemary Davies and Ivy Towner who competed at the NSWCPS Swimming Championships last Wednesday!! The girls had a fantastic day and swam their best. It is an amazing achievement to qualify as a member of the Armidale Diocesan Team and compete at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre!!  You should all be proud of your efforts. 

DIOCESAN CRICKET AND TOUCH FOOTBALL TRIALS 

Good luck to the students attending the Diocesan Cricket and Touch Footballs Trials on Wednesday in Tamworth. 

CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL

Last Thursday we held our annual School Cross Country Carnival. 

With an uncertain rain forecast for the morning we put our back up plan into action and relocated the Cross Country event to our very own school grounds. Around the oval, through the carpark, via the church and up the driveway everyone ran! 

Our winners were presented with their ribbons at the Awards Assembly last Friday along with the age race winners receiving a medal.

6 Years - Theo Conroy and Mary Smith 

7 Years - Nate Cameron and Zoe Wannan 

8 Years - Bailey Kay and Pip Gleeson 

9 Years - Jack Lehmann and Josie Wannan 

10 Years - Mac Winston-Smith and Bridie Whan 

11 Years - Thomas Eather and Anna Murphy 

12 Years - Harrison Tout and Elsie Jackson

Congratulations to the overall House Champions Mackillop! 

A huge thank you to our sports coordinators Mrs Nehrkorn, Mrs Craig and Mrs Quirk for your hard work to ensure our carnival proceeded and ran as smoothly as possible under such unpredictable conditions. We would also like to thank our parent volunteers for helping out with track supervision and tallying the laps around the track. Your time is greatly appreciated. 

The first six students to cross the finish line in the 8 years or older age groups will go on to compete at the Diocesan Cross Country Trials on Friday 17th May 2024.
