Interschool Sport

This Friday, our gold teams travelled to Hume Anglican. All teams had a great rally against their opponents. The gold girls’ volleyball team won 38-29. The boys’ volleyball team won 34-32 with an 11-point comeback. Our softball gold girls couldn’t get the win, however, they worked hard and displayed fantastic sportsmanship. The boys’ softball team had a great match and fought hard. The game came down to the last run. Our boys got a stop and managed to come away with a draw. The gold tennis teams both lost, however, they tried their best. 

Meanwhile, at home, the blue teams went up against St Paul's. Both the boys and girls' tennis teams lost but displayed excellent teamwork. The girls’ volleyball team started their term off well with a great win, while the boys showed a lot of determination going down in a close game, 27-31. The boys’ softball team came away with a nail-biting win, 15-14. 

It was a very foggy and cold morning, but we all had a great time participating in the sports we love.
