Junior Excursion to Numurkah Historical Museum 

This week, our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Numurkah Historical Museum as part of our inquiry focus on significant places. Throughout the term, students have been learning about our school's history and comparing what school was like in the past to today. At the museum, students explored fascinating artefacts including old photographs, chalkboards, wooden desks, vintage telephones, kitchen appliances, farming and shed tools, the old Numurkah lock-up cells, and even an old piano. The excursion provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real historical objects and gain a deeper understanding of how life in our community has changed over time.
