What a night to behold!! I am sure you would agree that every student shone brightly last night to celebrate the Christmas Story through our school Christmas Concert! It is events like last night that we stand back as educators and feel the privilege and heart warming connection with our students and their families. This is why we do what we do.
Such Christmas Concerts not only allow students to understand the story of Jesus Christ, Mary and Joseph in a different format, but it also allows students to be the best version of themselves in a way that may not otherwise be possible.
Staff and students worked hard to present this most sacred of time in our liturgical calendar so that the entire school community could enjoy and learn from the story of Christmas from Around the World. This is fitting considering the diverse and welcoming community of St Therese's.
What Is Advent Season? Advent is a sacred period in the Christian calendar that calls believers into a time of anticipation and spiritual preparation for the birth of Christ. Marked by the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, it is a journey through themes of hope, peace, joy, and love that inspire deeper faith and meaningful reflection. Beyond lighting candles or attending services, Advent encourages Christians to pause from daily routines, focus on the promise of renewal, and strengthen bonds within their communities. It is a season of waiting and active participation in God’s plan, reminding the faithful that light always emerges from darkness.
The students are preparing for this special time of year through their RE Inquiry as well as the weekly Whole School Advent Liturgies.
Please note the schedule below for the Advent Liturgies.
All liturgies will be in the school hall commencing at 9:05a.m.
We hope to see you there.
It is that time of year again when the Mini Vinnies are organising the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hampers to help the wider community of Cranbourne. Our St Therese Community has always been generous in their donations of non perishable food items and gifts helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
A letter has been shared with families explaining this event and we invite you to contribute if you can.
We have our End of Year Mass scheduled to celebrate the academic year and to farewell students and staff leaving the St Therese's Community. It is on Tuesday 9th December 2025 at 12:30p.m at St Agatha's Church in Cranbourne.
We would like to invite the wider school community to celebrate this event with us all.
Hope to see you there.
Each year the Parish of Holy Family in Doveton invite the wider neighbouring communities to their Divine Kids activities. Please have a look at the flyer below inviting our young people to participate in an Advent Retreat titled; Prepare the Way.
All details are below if you would like to enrol your children.

In preparation for the Sacraments for 2026, please find attached the Sacramental Timetable.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the St Therese's families for their support and ongoing connection with me as Religious Education Leader of the school over the past six years. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching students grow spiritually and being part of their faith journey. This role will be held by other members of staff moving forward in 2026.
Stay courageous & hopeful.
