Season 2 is nearing the end of the season. This week our boys soccer teams play in the quarter finals and our girls netball teams play their last round of gameplay. Both frisbee and girls soccer have finished their seasons.

Students were sent a Google Form to sign up for season 3 trials. Season 3 trials will take place in a couple of weeks. Students are asked to stay up to date with Compass notifications as all communication will be sent via Compass.

Kindergarten - Year 2 - Woolworths Cricket Blast

It was great to see so many students sign up and participate in the Woolworths Cricket Blast before school program. This program began this week. Students participated in a range of activities where they got to learn and practice new skills. A reminder for those students who have registered for this program that the gate behind the barn (gate in line with the entry gate of the car park) will only be open from 7:15am - 7:30am on the mornings of the program.

There are still a few spots left for the Year 3 - Year 6 program which is due to start in 3 weeks' time. Please follow the registration steps sent via Compass if you wish to register your child to participate.

PDSSSC Dance Gala Day

Towards the end of last term, we had a dedicated group of high school students participate in the PDSSSC Dance Gala Day. This group of committed dancers competed in the cultural section and put on such a lovely performance. They competed in an extremely popular category against schools from around the Parramatta Diocese and came away with second place which was a phenomenal effort. Well done to all the students involved in this gala day.

Parramatta Diocesan Primary Gala Days - Touch Football and Soccer

It has been great to see gala days have now begun for the year after some were originally washed out last term. Over the past two weeks, Stage 3 students have participated in a Touch Football Gala Day and a Soccer Gala Day.

Our touch football teams had a great day, experiencing a mix of wins and losses, while our boys soccer team finished second in their pool, and the girls team won their pool. Outstanding results!

Congratulations to all students involved for representing St Luke’s with such great pride.

MacKillop Soccer

Congratulations to Noah from Stage 3 who has been selected on the MacKillop team for Soccer. Noah and his team will compete at the NSWPSSA Boys Football Championships next month. This is a wonderful achievement that Noah has achieved two years in a row. We wish Noah and his team all the best when competing against the best junior soccer players from around the state.
