The Trinity College Performing Arts would like to welcome friends and family to attend the upcoming Chamber Music Night on Wednesday June 25, 7:00pm in Braham Auditorium. This performance opportunity is designed for students in our small ensembles to showcase their pieces prior to the Performing Arts Festival in Term 3.
On Friday, 13 June Gibney Hall was once again alive with music as it hosted the Junior School Music Night, the second of three major music concerts this Term.
The evening featured an array of outstanding performances from our youngest musicians, delighting a full house of proud families and friends. The Junior Concert Band opened the night with energy as their piece slayed Dragons, followed the Junior String Ensembles Stampede of melodies and then a lively performance from the Junior Chamber String Ensemble.
The vocal program included the charming renditions from the Year 4 Choir, performing Whisper, and the Year 5/6 Choir, who showcased two contrasting pieces. The evening concluded with a captivating performance by the Junior Vocal Ensemble, reflecting their progress and enthusiasm for music.
A warm thank you to all who attended and supported our young performers. Special thanks to the dedicated music staff for their preparation and guidance. Congratulations to all the students involved.
This week, Year 4 students delighted families and friends with their first Strings Concert. The young performers were excited to showcase their newfound skills on violin, viola, cello, and double bass. From confidently holding their instruments to plucking notes and manoeuvring their bows with finesse, their excitement for music was evident.
Thank you to all that attended and to our passionate music tutors for encouraging their passion for music! We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and development in their musical journey.
On Sunday, 15 June seven of our talented Trinity boys took to the stage at the AUSTA Festival held at WAAPA, performing duets either with each other or alongside their tutor. The event brought together almost 300 string students from across Perth, creating a vibrant celebration of music and learning.
Our students represented the College with pride, receiving a mix of gold and silver awards for their excellent performances. A warm thank you goes to the families who supported their sons by attending the festival and encouraging them in their ongoing cello journeys.
Well done to all involved for their dedication and musical achievements!
