Morrisby Interviews

Students completed their one-on-one interview first week back at school with the external career counsellors. These interviews begin to shape the career pathways for our Year 9 students giving them an understanding of the jobs available to them and their strengths when searching for jobs. If students missed their interview there will be a catch-up day scheduled later in the term and they should see the careers office to schedule a time. 

Uniform

As the weather starts to cool down students begin wearing the winter uniform. A reminder that the uniform guidelines state the following.

Winter Uniform

• Trousers or slacks – grey (tailored, business style)
• School skirt – to be worn approximately knee length
• White collared shirt or white polo shirt (plain, long or short sleeved)
• Jumper
  – Junior (Years 7-9) Red with black trim
  – Senior (Years 10-12) Black with red trim
• Socks – plain white, black or grey (i.e. no logos, words, patterns)
• Black tights or stockings
• Plain black leather school shoes – lace up or T-bars (NO boots or branded shoes)
• Black School Blazer (Optional)

Other important information

• Outer garments such as beanies may be worn outside, or a scarf may be worn if it is plain black, red, grey or white.
• Students are not allowed to wear long sleeves under their tops unless there is a cultural exception.
• Students are required to bring a uniform pass to wear a jumper outside at recess and lunchtime if they are unable to wear their school jumper.

Positive Term 1
