PE News

We’ve had so many exciting things happen in the last half of the term, and it’s been wonderful to see our students achieving and participating so enthusiastically. Here are some of the highlights.
Year 3-6 House Cross Country
What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Year 3–6 House Cross Country event last Friday! All the training and hard work throughout the term truly paid off. The students gave it their all and should be incredibly proud of their efforts. A huge congratulations to Moneghetti House for taking out the win. Thank you as well to everyone who came along to support and cheer on the students—it made for a great atmosphere.
Overall Results: 1st: Moneghetti – 216 points 2nd: Perkins – 191 points 3rd: O’Neil – 189 points 4th: Freeman – 173 points.
Year 5&6 Interschool Sport
We also saw some excellent results in the Year 5/6 Summer Interschool Sport, with many teams progressing through to the finals. Congratulations to the Girls Softcross team for being crowned district champions for the third year in a row—an outstanding achievement! The Girls T20 cricket team also performed brilliantly, winning the B Grade competition.
Regional Swimming
Mabel Cousland has been competing in various swimming carnivals throughout the term. On Tuesday, 31st March, she represented the school at the Regional Swimming Finals at MSAC, where she achieved second place in both freestyle and breaststroke events.
