District Sports
Students from Years 3 - 6 participated in District sports today in events including running, hurdles, long jump, high jump, triple jump, discus and shot put. We are proud of all our students for participating so enthusiastically today and well done to those students who made it through to Division Sports.
Year 5 Camp
It's a big week ahead for our Year 5 students who are off to their first School Camp experience at Sovereign Hill on Wednesday to Friday. We wish all our campers a wonderful adventure and look forward to hearing all about it. I will be heading along to camp for the two nights as well. Josh Crowe will be leading the school during this time.
Marathon Club
This is the last week for marathon club this term.
MACSSIS Surveys
Our Year 4-6 students have already completed the MACSSIS surveys and we are encouraging parents to complete a survey to provide feedback on many aspects to our St James community. Your feedback helps shape the future of our school community. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. You will have received an email from Orica Research with a link and an individual pin.
To say thank you for your time, an additional link to a form will be shared along with the MACSSIS survey. Every family that completes the survey can submit a form that will be sent through shortly for their child/ren to receive a free lamington on the last day of term.
Parent Teacher Student Learning Conferences
These will be held on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September. A reminder that there will be no formal classes on Friday 18th, the last day of term.
Booking details were sent out on Friday so please ensure you book your child/ren in as soon as possible.
