Grade 6 Camp Reflection

We arrived at camp Jungai on the first day of Term 4 after a long bus ride.  We had many fun activities to do over the course of four days, including a high ropes course, canoes, raft building and many more.

A favourite activity was the possum pull. You're harnessed to a rope, and your peers pull you around 15 metres into the air while you hold two teddy bears.  The goal is to try to drop them straight into a bucket below.

On one of the three nights, we slept in tents on a big oval. We cooked our dinner over a fire, which consisted of stir fry with noodles, vegetables and teriyaki sauce.  On our last night at camp we gathered in a big room and Auntie, who is a local Wurundjeri elder, told us some of her favorite dreamtime stories.

We had so much fun at Camp Jungai & made so many good memories.

District Athletics

A massive congratulations to ten very hard working students who represented Bell at the recent Regional athletics carnival. Sadie, Lola, Rose and Lorna from Grade 4 and Amelie, Rani, Elias, Finn, Stella and Jude from Grade 6. They should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments and thank you to their families for supporting them through these events.
