During the 2027 June/July holidays, Marist College Ashgrove will be hitting the snow again in New Zealand. The overall aim of the tour is for students to experience skiing and snowboarding. The trip will be offered to Years 10, 11 and 12 students of 2027 (current Years 9, 10 and 11 students) with priority given to older year levels. The information below has been provided to gauge interest in the trip to allow booking arrangements.
To help maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone in our community, we ask all families to be mindful and considerate when parking on and around College grounds. In particular, extra care is required in the pool car park where there are minimal line markings. Please ensure adequate space is left between vehicles so drivers and passengers can safely enter and exit their cars.
We would also like to remind families of the designated parking arrangements in this area. Access across the Glenlyon Bridge is strictly limited to staff and patrons of the College swimming club. Likewise, the nearby drop-off bay is reserved exclusively for swimming club use. Parking within the swimming pool car park (from the eastern end of the pool to the bridge) is available to staff and swimming pool patrons only, while parking alongside and behind the pool is designated for staff use. Parents are also asked not to drop off or park in the Grandstand carpark. This area is allocated for staff parking only.
These measures are in place to reduce on-site traffic congestion and, most importantly, to support the safety of our students, staff and wider community. We thank you for your understanding, cooperation and ongoing support in following these parking arrangements.
