Luke Bahramis, Head of Sport
Welcome to Kilvington Sport for 2025! I'm thrilled for the year ahead and excited to see what our students will accomplish.
This term kicks off with House Swimming on 4 March and House Athletics on 28 March, along with weekly sports for Years 8 to 12.
For those new to the School or interested in representing Kilvington in swimming or athletics, please contact Miss Emma McLaren (Head of Swimming and Athletics) for training schedules and upcoming events.
Year 7s have started their first athletics sessions in preparation for House Athletics at the end of term. They all did a great job in the heat at Duncan Mackinnon, and Miss McLaren was really pleased with the skill level of the group. It looks like we might be pushing for promotion to Division One this year!
EISM sport teams have been training hard on Wednesdays and Thursdays and have just completed round one matches against Knox and Bialik. Finals for both seasons will be early next term. Best of luck to all our teams as we aim to get as many teams as possible into the semi-finals.
Lastly, keep an eye on your ‘Co-curricular’ app on KCEE for sport updates – just one click takes you to your bus departure times, venues you're playing at, and fixtures and ladders to keep an eye on.
We encourage all students to give their best effort while embodying the values of sportsmanship and teamwork that represent Kilvington. Our dedicated coaching team is committed to instilling respect both on and off the field, as we believe it plays a crucial role in shaping well-rounded individuals.
Here’s to a fantastic year of sport!
