The School Day

Staff are required to be onsite by 8.30am.

While most staff are onsite prior to this time, they do so to prepare for the day.

Children arriving prior to 8.30am will wait on the couches in the hallway.

Families needing to drop their child off early on occasion are asked to organise this with the office.

Before and After School Care is accessible at Rochester Primary School.

St Joseph's staff will gather children at Before School Care and support them to meet the transfer bus from Rochester Secondary College.

At the end of the day, St Joseph's staff will meet children from the bus at Rochester Secondary College and walk them to After School Care.

Children who are not country bus travellers are required to pay for the bus service between St Joseph's and Rochester Secondary College. In 2025 this fee was $1.50.
