Community News

A warm welcome to 2026 at PVCC. We are so glad you are here! Greetings from Community Relations Team, we are your support and go to for all whole school events, social media, and enrollments and so much more!

We would love to give you a quick recap of how to connect in with our community. We have a private Facebook page called PVCC Families which all current parents, staff and applicable students are able to join. On this page, staff may post something interesting happening in the classroom, reminders for upcoming events, photos from athletics and swimming carnivals and so much more. This is a great space to ask questions and connect with others in our community.   PVCC Families | Facebook

We also have a public Facebook and Instagram page which we encourage you to 'follow' here: PVCC Facebook and @plentyvalleychristiancollege . This is where we share our big news items - check it out!

If you would like to be a parent volunteer at the college we would love to invite you to be part of our Parents and Friends Group. This group highly valued team of parents and carers that support our college through fundraising and supporting the running of events and activities that build our community. If you would like to be part of this group or learn more, we’d love to connect with you. Please complete your details and we will email you with more information on how to get involved! And finally, there is a Parent Prayer Group that currently meets every Thursday morning in the Early Years Building from 8:45 am - 9:30 am (sign in at reception and they will direct you). This is a wonderful way to ask for God's hand of blessing on our school and connect with other parents to pray for students, staff and upcoming events. We have been so blessed and encouraged by this pop-up ministry that has started and are thrilled to see it continue to grow. Unfortunately, the space we meet in is unable to accommodate children, so we kindly ask that they are cared for elsewhere during the session. Thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to serving you and this community this year! We hope to see you at the upcoming Family Picnic!

Blessings,

The Community Relations Team

Family Picnic

What a better way to start the new year and build community than to gather and 'break bread' together? Next week, we warmly invite you to join us at the college for a Family Picnic and Primary open classroom session.  This night has been such a blessing to so many in our college community. A great way for new students to the college to connect with friends outside of class and for parents to build friendships with other parents.

Thursday February 5th from 5pm to 7pm, bring some nibbles and drinks (no alcohol please) and picnic mat or some camping chairs and set yourselves up for a relaxed night on the grassy hill by the Primary Basketball courts enjoying the live music, kids playing games and great fellowship with other PVCC families.

Our Primary School classrooms will be open from 5:00–5:30 pm, and you're warmly invited to come in, meet your child’s teacher, and take a look around the learning space. If you’d like to chat about anything specific regarding your child, we kindly ask that you book a dedicated time with the teacher so those conversations can receive the care and attention they deserve.

We will also be running a sausage sizzle and drinks sales with funds raised going to the wonderful Year 12 cohort - Leave your Legacy project!

The new space allows us to display a greater range of items, so if you’re like me—and many others—it’s the perfect time to dig out those bags hiding at the back of the closet and donate! Donations can be dropped off at either the Early Years Reception or the Business Office. As a thank‑you, all families who donate will receive 20% off a total purchase in the Second Hand Uniform Shop.

Please note that our operating hours have been slightly adjusted to accommodate recent timetable changes.

We look forward to seeing you in the new space!

Opening hours during school terms:
