Old Mobile Phones for Recycling   

The Digital Technology Group is collecting old mobile phones for a recycling competition.  They are participating in the Mobile Muster Schools Competition by Cool Australia.

The theme is “What’s in a phone?”

Students will learn what materials are in a phone and create an artwork or short video to show how a phone is recycled. If you have an old phone, please put it in the box at the office.

What makes a sustainable dairy farm? 

Our Sustainability students found out that a dairy farm needs more trees to provide shade for animals. Water quality needs improving or recycled to save water and improve its use.  Waste from cow manure is recycled for good soil health. Farmers care for their cows and look at improving their diets to reduce methane emissions. Solar panels are in use to help farms save energy. 

Our students did a wonderful job of their model to represent a sustainable dairy farm.
