Grade 4

Discovery

This term, the Year 4's have been exploring the history and culture of Australia's First Nations People before the arrival of Europeans over 250 years ago. We used string, with one centimetre representing 10 years, to see exactly how long Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have been in Australia. It stretched almost across the whole oval! We've also taken another Discovery lesson outside to learn about connection to Country through mindfulness and using all of our senses to notice our surroundings.

Open Classrooms

Thank you to our wonderful families that were able to make it for the Open Classroom session. The kids absolutely loved playing the maths game with you and it was so wonderful to see so many familiar faces in the Year 4 classrooms!
