Year 12 Music: Farewell and Well Done!

We congratulate our Year 12 Music students who recently completed their HSC Performance Exams in Music 1, Music 2 and Music Extension.

This well-loved group of students including Ruby Gale, Iluka Horn, Elizabeth Isbister and Alex Stewart also received strong support from a range of their family, friends and teachers at their recent and final Soiree.

We have certainly been reminded that ‘good things come in small packages’ as this class worked hard to deliver high quality performances and compositions. We will miss them and wish them well as they prepare to sit their final HSC exams.

ENCORE Nomination

A huge congratulations to Ruby Gale and lluka Horn who have been nominated for possible inclusion in ENCORE – the HSC showcase that celebrates incredible achievements of Music students from across the state. We are very proud of you!

Celebrating Year 10 Music Student achievement

Congratulations to Year 10 student, Chloe, who performed two soprano solos in John Rutter’s Requiem this month with the Leura Singers.

The performance was part of a fundraising concert supporting the Rural Fire Service. Chloe delivered an outstanding performance, particularly excelling in the challenging high B-flat passages.

Well done Chloe.
