Prep Inquiry - Living Things
Last term, the Preps were busy exploring the wonderful world of Living Things! The Preps learnt about what makes something living, explored the different features of living things, and learnt about what they need to live, grow and survive. Throughout our learning, we investigated a variety of living things, including animals and plants, and discussed how their needs and features can be similar and different. The Preps loved putting their learning into action by creating their own grass lawns and observing how they grew and changed over time. We also had a very exciting visit to the zoo, where students were able to observe animals up close and apply their knowledge of living things in the real world!
