Don’t Be That Guy Presentation

On Wednesday, we welcomed Craig from Don’t Be That Guy to speak with all students and staff. Craig drew on his life experiences with addiction and relationships to highlight the risks associated with alcohol, drug and vape use.

Craig also covered topics including respectful relationships, the manosphere and the importance of showing respect towards school staff.

We thank Craig for visiting the College and hope students found the presentation valuable and thought-provoking. It was particularly positive to see a number of students approach Craig after the presentation to personally thank him for sharing his experiences.

Year 12 Student Councillor 2027

Nominations have now closed for the 2027 Year 12 Student Councillor positions, and the voting process will now commence.

In total, nine students have nominated for these leadership positions. It is fantastic to see so many students willing to put themselves forward and take on a leadership role within the College. We wish all nominees the best as the voting process takes place.

Farm Skills Fencing Training

It has been a pleasure to be involved in the after-school Farm Skills fencing training over the past term.

Next Thursday, we head off to Farm Skills, which is personally one of my favourite events on the College calendar. It is always fantastic to see our students demonstrate their farming skills as they compete against students from across the state.

Good luck to our 2026 Farm Skills teams. We look forward to seeing you represent the College.

Wishing everyone a great weekend.
