Prep Play Dates - School Uniform Shop Volunteers 

The prep play dates excitingly scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd and Thursday, 4th of December with the uniform shop opening to support our new families and preppies. We need two more volunteers for each session. 

The uniform shop provides a sustainable and cost effective way of purchasing school uniform. If you have one hour spare, please help us open the uniform shop. Without volunteers, we can't run the uniform shop.

New 2026 Parent Association Committee 🎉

We would like to formally introduce our new 2026 Parents Association committee that has been elected to represent this wonderful school community. We would like to congratulate Wessene Jackson who is the next to join our team as vice-president of the PA. 

We as a collective group hope to continue the great work of the Parents Association in building community and fundraising events to celebrate this diverse and generous community of the FWPS. As we get our feet off the ground some key items we're working on is developing a 2026 Parents Association vision, fundraising goals and the events schedule for next year. 

Don't be shy and come to say hello if you see us around the school grounds - we would love a chat! 

World Teacher Day 🎊🙌

To thank our wonderful teaching staff and office staff, we celebrated world teacher day on Friday, 31 October with a lovely morning tea catered by the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre (supported and funded by the PA) and the decoration of blackboard by some creative artists. 

Thanks to Chantelle (adult), Juniper, Mia S, Zoe G, Marco C, Vi C and Bec for their artistic decoration on the blackboard. 

The wisdom and expertise of our teaching staff at FWPS shines brightly in our students and communities.
