Sports

Junior School

Last week we had our Junior Swimming Program.

This was a full week at PARC with all our junior students receiving a 40 minute lesson involving swimming techniques/strokes as well as life saving awareness and exercises that they would be able to use outside should the need ever arise.

Judging by the feedback we had , as well as the smiles from the kids, we had a very successful swimming week.

I would like to thank our kids for being fantastic, and giving everything a fair go. Also to all staff who helped throughout the week, and for all the parents who came along to support your child and our school. Thank you!

In class this week, we have been focusing on a lot of throwing, catching and bouncing a ball (both stationary and moving). We have also included Treasure Island, which is a fun inclusive game where students are divided into two teams, and attempt to take the other teams treasure from a 5m square area.

Senior School

This week we have continued with  new game called Catch Ball. The key skills, like most sports involve throwing, catching and your movement around the court/pitch.
