Mr Hyatt
Why do I always get myself in these situations?
I must reflect on the reasons behind my continual errors that lead me into circumstances where I find myself metaphorically taped to a wall. I recall discussing this very issue around this time last year, yet the pattern persists. Currently, I am in my office, addressing several minor injuries while also grappling with a blow to my self-esteem after extricating myself from that predicament once again! It is certainly time for certain staff members to volunteer to participate in this process next year, or alternatively, we may need to abandon this idea and devise a new fundraising initiative. However, I have a strong inclination that this situation may recur in the following year.
Besides that, the Mini Vinnies team has every reason to take pride in the remarkable success of the fundraising activities conducted to support Catholic Mission, which will aid those in need in Mongolia. The total amount raised throughout the week has now reached over $400. Additionally, there was a notable display of creative hairstyles and unique socks today, and I trust that there will be no difficulties in removing the diverse colors and dyes that were utilised. I extend my gratitude to everyone involved, as you all should feel a sense of pride in your accomplishments.
New England Sings Performance
On Sunday, I had the distinct honour of attending the New England Sings Performance at Lazenby Hall. The organizers of this concert deserve commendation for orchestrating such an outstanding event, showcasing the remarkable talent present in our region. The students who participated in the performance should take great pride in their exceptional performances and their role as exemplary representatives of St Patrick's. Congratulations to them! Additionally, heartfelt gratitude is owed to all the parents who dedicated their time and effort to ensure their children could attend the numerous rehearsals on both Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the performance.

Among the experiences we will engage in are visits to the Australian War Memorial, an exploration of the history of our currency system and the coin production process at the Australian Mint, testing our athletic abilities at the Australian Institute of Sport, and a tour of Parliament House, which merely scratches the surface of our planned adventures.
Parents and students are reminded that they need to be at St Patrick's between 6.45am-7.00am (new time) at the latest on Monday morning.

Beach to Bush Workshop on Friday 8th November
On Friday, 8th November, St Patrick’s Primary will welcome Surf Life Saving NSW for the highly informative Beach to Bush Presentation. This annual event is part of an important educational initiative aimed at teaching students essential water safety skills and increasing awareness about beach and water hazards. As one of the state’s largest surf education programs, Beach to Bush has reached thousands of students across New South Wales, focusing on beach safety, first aid, and emergency response.
The Teachers are excited for this important presentation, recognising the value it brings to the school community. Water safety is an essential life skill, and St Patrick’s is committed to providing students with practical, real-world knowledge that helps keep them safe.
We’re looking forward to a fun, engaging, and educational session with Surf Life Saving NSW. With the Beach to Bush Presentation, students at St Patrick’s Primary will be better prepared to safely enjoy Australia’s beautiful waters, especially now that the Christmas holidays are just around the corner.
