Welcome to Term 4!

I am always excited to return the break and welcome students back to the library.  

A reminder the days student visit the library:

  *  Year 2, 3 & 4 - Tuesdays 

  *  Prep and Year 1 - Wednesdays  

  *  Year 5 and 6 students - Thursdays  

The library tub was full by recess on Monday with holiday reads.  I hope even the grown ups managed to read a good book over the holidays. I had been saving the latest Christian White (anyone else not start a book because it means you have to finish it, just me??). He is a favourite aussie author of mine and The Long Night did not disappoint!  

Library Club will continue to be held every Wednesday for the first half of lunch. This gives the students a quiet space to read and an opportunity to spend time perusing the shelves. I love seeing new visitors to Library Club as there are many new books on offer. I actively encourage students to always read the blurb and remember what they're looking for in a good fit book as well as trying something new. I am always available to offer suggestions.  

We have a new sign in the library read, return, repeat!  It's our mantra for Term 4!

Book Club will be sent out this week one at the beginning of Term and one towards the end in time for Christmas, yes I said it; Christmas!
