Debating

Our annual debating festival started this week for our Year 3-6 students. The debates will be held in our library at lunch times, starting at 1:10pm. We welcome families to come along and watch.

Victorian State School's Spectacular (VSSS) 26

20 of our Year 4-6 students will be part of a mass choir as part of the Victorian State School's Spectacular on Saturday the 30th of August. Tickets for this event are on sale through Ticketek. We have one more rehearsal at the Melbourne Town Hall before the performance.

Book Week - August 22nd - 28th

This year the theme for National Children's Book Week 2026 is "Symphony of Stories." Numurkah Primary School will be holding a multi-age activity afternoon, a dress up day and participating in the Community Reading Day.

Jump Rope for Heart

Skipping has become a recess and lunch time favourite activity. It is fantastic to see the students skills increasing. The fundraising will continue throughout the term, with our fun jump day on the last day of term.

2027 Foundation Enrolments

Current families with a child at Numurkah PS who will commence Prep (Foundation) in 2027 are encouraged to pick up an enrolment pack from the office, or alternatively you can enrol through the VicStudents portal.

If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Numurkah PS for 2027 or still undecided, please encourage them to give the office a call or come in for a chat and a tour of the school.

Parents and Friends:

We would like to engage as many families as possible and invite all members of the family to be a part of our Parents and Friends committee. We understand that some families can't make meetings during the school day, however, there are many ways you can be a part and support our school. If you would like to help our school, please give the office a call to discuss ways you could help out.
