A Message from Parents & Friends
Hi everyone,
As we accelerate through Term 3, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful school community for your continued generosity and support. We understand that times can be challenging for many families, which makes your ongoing support, participation and donations even more appreciated.
We have raised an astonishing $42,612.69 so far this year, with $9023.45 raised in Term 2.
Thanks to your support, we are making great progress towards purchasing new furniture for our teaching and learning spaces. These improvements will help create comfortable, engaging environments that benefit all of our students.
Here’s an update for past events and what is coming up.
Sushi Special Lunch
We hope that you all enjoyed a day off from making lunch at the end of Term 2. We have received really positive feedback on our Sushi lunch - it seems it was enjoyed by all.
We raised a total of $1062.54. Thank you to everyone who supported this and made this possible.
Disco
Our children appeared to have a good time at our recent school disco. Positive feedback was given around the timings although it looked as though a few children could have carried partying on all night as they were having so much fun. Thanks to the support and participation, we raised a total of $2458.75. A big thank you to our Junior School Council for selecting the theme, chief organiser Leanne for embracing the theme, DJ Coco for coming back to our school (even though her children have moved to high school) and to all our wonderful volunteers who gave up their free time to support the event.
Friday treats
Friday treats during Term 2 worked a treat. We raised $1132.42 and are delighted to be running alternative treats during Term 3 whilst we’re navigating this extremely cold winter we appear to be having!
Picture Products
A big thank you to everyone who drew amazing pictures and bought a plate or another product. All drawings have been sent and are now in production. We’re expecting delivery around 8th September and products will be sent to your child’s class room for distribution when ready.
Cookie Dough
Our ever popular cookie dough fundraising is back for the month of August. We’re in full swing with 311 tubs of cookie dough sold. Every child can register online and can start fundraising. As always, this is optional but the winning class from Prep - 2 and 3 - 6 will each receive a pizza and a movie. The top 3 classes so far are:

Father’s/ Special Person’s Day - Tuesday 1st September
Make a note in your diary and calendars. We will be hosting our stall in the SAKG for children (along with their class) to purchase (should they wish to) from a selection of gifts. Items will be priced at either $5 or $10. For children who miss out, remaining stock will be sold on Wednesday 2nd September.

Father’s/ Special Person’s Day - Friday 4th September
Calling all special people, we will be celebrating Father’s and Special People at a school-wide event on Friday 4th September.
Please see the details below and make sure you dig out your best inflatable costume. We will have a special race at the end of the event where inflatable costumes will compete in a race around the running track. The winning Dad/ special person will win a prize!

P&F Morning tea
Thank you to everyone who came along to our morning tea and had a good old chat. It was lovely to see so many new faces. We hope to run one of these again later in the year.
