Principal's Message

Term 1 of 2025 has been a really interesting and successful term.
Each of the year levels have had a number of special activities focused on actively involving the children in their learning experiences. This week grade levels have been having assemblies to celebrate achievement and share successes. These assemblies have been very well attended by families.
Yesterday our Harmony Day celebration was a huge success. Many parents and family members attended and had the pleasure of seeing children and staff wearing many beautiful costumes. Ms. Boscolo did a wonderful job of managing the parade and the cultural dances that were performed. Our children did a wonderful job of providing interesting information about each of the represented countries and cultural groups.
Our SRC has been very active and have organized a Free Dress Day for today, Thursday 3rd April, to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
As always, the children are looking forward to our Easter Egg prizes and everyone was hoping to be a winner when the lucky tickets are selected tomorrow Friday 4th April.
I hope that everyone enjoys the holiday break. We look forward to the return of the students on Tuesday 22nd April for the start of Term 2. (The first week of term will be a very short week with Monday a public holiday for Easter and Friday a public holiday for ANZAC Day.)
