Principal's Message

Thank you to the parents who attended our parent sessions with Jemma from Real Schools yesterday. There were some really great conversations had throughout the session on the topic of Building Resilience in children.

Today Jemma has been working with students and teachers in classrooms on a range of Learning circles, the use of Affective Language, restorative tools and social emotional learning strategies.  

Today, both our girls' and boys' basketball teams competed in the PSSA Basketball Gala Day at Bathurst Indoor Stadium.

Unfortunately, the girls were defeated in their first game, but they showed great  sportsmanship throughout the match. The boys had a strong start to the day, winning both of their games so far. They will now take to the court again at 2:30 pm as they continue their campaign.

Good luck to the boys in their next game, and well done to all of our students for representing the school with pride!

On Tuesday students turning 8 this year through to our year 6 students headed to Alan Morse Park for our Athletics Carnival Track events. What a beautiful day with the sun shining, lots of students participating and lots of parent/grandparent support.  We will announce shortly the students who will move forward to the District Athletics Carnival next term. Just a reminder that all the races were timed finals.

This will be our last newsletter for Term 2. I would like to wish you all a safe and relaxing break. Students will return to school on Tuesday 21 July.
