Caritas Courage Cup students and staff footy
Our Caritas Courage Cup Students and Staff football match is on at lunchtime today, Friday 18th September, at the Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
Our two teams, St Augustine's and Ky Bombers, will consist of a mix of Years 11 and 12 students as well as staff, with our Years 5-12 Community attending to support them.
The Courage Cup has been a calendar highlight in recent years and we look forward to another exciting match played in true St Augustine's spirit, with skill, sportsmanship, mateship and fun.
We welcome families to come along to the Rec Reserve at lunchtime today to cheer on our teams.
Last day of Term 3 and Term 4 commencement
A reminder that school will finish at 2.20pm today, Friday 18th September.
We look forward to welcoming back all students refreshed and ready for Term 4 on Monday 5th October.
Sacramental Program
This Sunday, 20th September, during 8.30am Mass at St Augustine's Church, our 2027 Sacramental students will celebrate their Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. We wish them well for their special day and look forward to celebrating with them. We thank our St Augustine's Parish Team and our Year 3 teachers for supporting our students on their sacramental journey this year.
Save the Date - Grandparents and Special Friends Day
We look forward to welcoming our Grandparents and Special Friends to St Augustine's on Thursday 15th October.
As part of the day we will celebrate with a Whole School Mass at 11.30am.
Further details will be provided to families in coming weeks.
Please remember to check Lost Property
A reminder to check our lost property box for any missing items by the end of school today.
Lost property currently includes school jumpers and jackets, swimming goggles, balls, drink bottles and lunch boxes. All unclaimed items will be donated to Vinnies during the school holidays.
You can find the lost property box outside the door between the College Office and F-4 quadrangle.
School hats
As per the College SunSmart Policy, from Term 3, Week 7, school hats are required to be worn when outside at lunchtime and recess and for outdoor class activities.
The weather continues to warm up and the UV Index is on the rise so we ask families to please check their children have their St Augustine's College hat ready and at school with them next term.
New hats can be purchased from the College Office for $15 - eftpos or cash (correct amount is appreciated where possible).
E-Bike and E-Scooter safety reminder
As we begin school holidays and our students are out enjoying the spring weather, Victoria Police would like to remind families about road safety, particularly rules regarding use of E-Bikes and E-Scooters. It is important to know that under 16s cannot ride any E-Scooter in public areas under any circumstances.

Parish RCIA Inquiry Evenings
Inquiry evenings for the RCIA program will begin on Monday 5th October at 5.30pm in the Presbytery. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of Christian formation for those seeking full communion with the Church.
