Wellbeing Update

At Lara Secondary College, we are proud of the strong partnerships we build with our families. Recently, we were delighted to see a wonderful turnout for our Year 7 2027 Information Evening. It was fantastic to welcome so many families onto our campus and begin building connections with students who may soon be joining our college community.

A highlight of the evening was the level of interest in our supports for student wellbeing. Many families took the opportunity to explore the wellbeing space, ask questions and learn more about the comprehensive wellbeing supports available to our students. It was a pleasure to meet so many parents and guardians and to speak about the proactive, student-centred approach we take to supporting young people academically, socially and emotionally.

Book Recommendation

In addition to the supports we provide at school, we recognise that families play a vital role in guiding young people particularly in navigating life online.
