Congratulations to all members of our community for a successful Term 1, it was an exciting and eventful return to school for 2024. We would like to wish all families a safe and happy holiday break and look forward to seeing you all again in Term 2.

End of Term Drinks

A reminder that tomorrow you can celebrate the end of a busy term with us by catching up with parents at West Footscray Wines. Ahead of the early dismissal time of 2.20pm, West Footscray Wines will be open from 12.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Easter Raffle

Thanks to the generous members of our school community who have taken the time to donate goodies for the Easter raffle. Congratulations to all of tomorrow's lucky winners!

Many thanks also to the parents who volunteered to assemble the donations into hampers on Tuesday: Hilary Veale, Gazel Goh, Maggie Rybka, Briana Finlay, Adele Coone, Rebecca Gregg and Sharee Logan. And special thanks to Aster Coone (2MM) for her beautiful hamper labels.

End of Term Sausage Sizzle

Thank you to all families who have supported the return of this fundraiser, today’s lunch was a great success with all profits going towards the cost of replacing the basketball court.

We would especially like to thank the team from Theircare, who not only very kindly donated the sausages and bread for the day, but many of the volunteers too. Many thanks to Theircare educators: Sheridan, Kristen, Mitch and Ashleigh who will be familiar faces to many.

Thanks also to the parents (and returning grandparents) who volunteered to assist for the day: Maxena and Dave Fowler, Anna Munro, Alexandar Gligoroski, Renee Jones, Stuart Balloch, Rebecca Gregg, Mary Chen, Sarah Flinn, Tanya Tran, Briana Finlay, Verna Kristy, Alicia Madden and Clare Mitchell Crow. Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall

Planning continues for our first event of Term 2: the Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall that will run on Friday, 10th May. If you are a local maker, baker, or have donations for our stall we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking donations of gifts such as plants, jewellery and other accessories. Donations can be dropped off at the office any day this term. If you have an hour or two to help wrap gifts / donations, please save the date - Friday 19th April - 9.15am-10.15am. Location TBC.
