Joy of a child

It has been a pleasure to see the joy in our children across the last week.

Book Week - There’s nothing like a good dress up to allow our imaginations to come to life. Our Book week parade was a fun filled time as we celebrated and brought to life our favourite book characters. It was a joyful time.

Thank you to our librarian, Ms McLeod and her team of helpers and staff for creating a love of books and providing a rich array of activities for our children last week.

Thank you to our community members and preschoolers for participating and adding an extra sparkle of joy to our parade.

Father’s Day – Without giving too much away we thank our amazing admin team and band of parent volunteers for providing the Father’s Day stall on Tuesday. Again, we saw joy as children were given an opportunity to be independent and find what they see as something special for the fathers.

We look forward to our Father’s Day breakfast tomorrow morning and thank all our volunteers and staff for their support of this special time.

Learning Conversations

Thank you for booking your learning conversation time with your child’s teacher either tomorrow evening or on Friday. We value and look forward to meeting you face to face and sharing your child’s growth journey and hearing your perspectives and questions.

We remind families that Friday is a school closure day (children don’t attend school) to allow time for learning conversations to occur.

Coming soon

We reach an exciting phase in our ongoing development of our facilities and grounds during the end of term break. With high quality inside learning spaces established we shift our attention to our outside spaces and are pleased to announce a significant upgrade to our junior primary playground. We will install two new pieces of equipment and relocate some of the existing equipment to provide an engaging and stimulating outdoor play space. There were some excited children when we announced this after our chapel time this morning.
