Ms Brea Terris

Dear Families,

We are excited to welcome everyone back to school for Term 4! After a well-deserved break, our classrooms are buzzing with energy and enthusiasm as we gear up for an exciting and productive final term of the year.

Students have started straight back into their learning and have been participating in a range of engaging activities.

We have so many great things happening at school this term.

Next week, we’re thrilled to welcome our families for Grandparents Day, along with a very special visit from Camp Quality. Camp Quality is embarking on their incredible 7-day outback motoring event, the esCarpade, with the mission to raise over $1.2 million to support children and families affected by cancer. We feel incredibly lucky that SHNPS has been chosen as one of their stops on this inspiring journey!

Regional Athletics

Congratulations to all of our students who participated in Bendigo at the Regional Athletics earlier this week. All of our students did an amazing job and should be proud of their efforts. Congratulations to Miles and Tyndarah who will be representing our school at the State Athletics day in a couple of weeks.

Colour Fun Run

Thank you to all of our families fundraising for the Colour Fun Run coming up on 7th November. We have currently raised $3900!!

Congratulations to our lucky students who won a voucher today! 🎉 Next week, every student will receive a wristband giving them the chance to win exciting prizes by scanning the QR code. Stay tuned and good luck to all!

Hats

Students will need to wear their school hat during Term 4. Hats can be purchased at the office.

Parking

Please be aware that Police and Swan Hill Rural City Council have been monitoring parking on Murlong Street before and after school due to the ongoing building works.

Please ensure bus bays on both Murlong and Chapman Street are kept clear before and after school.

We kindly ask all families to please use the designated school crossing on Murlong Street to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.

2026 Enrolments

We are really excited to be accepting so many enrolments for 2026.

If you know of any families who would like a tour of the school, please encourage them to contact the office.

Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school. 'Word of mouth' is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding many enquiries about our school.

Uniform

Please ensure students are in full school uniform. It is important that students have a school jumper on and not a casual jumper. We have spare jumpers at the office if students need them.

Duty of Care

Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind Regards

Brea
