SIMON

As you are aware, we have moved from Operoo to SIMON for our daily attendance roll, permission notes and parent surveys.  We will also be rolling out many other features of this program, and we will let you know about these as they happen.  The Parent Access Module (PAM) is where parents will access all information.  It is a website (not an App) but can be saved to phone home screens.

You would have received an email that contained a username (both parents should have received an email), and this would have prompted you to create a password.  If you have forgotton your password, click the 'forgot password' option

In the past few weeks the following have been sent to families, and require a response-

-Connect surveys- Library help (all families), Year 7 School enrolments (Year 6 only)

-Permission notes- Soft Plastics pick up, Mobile phones/smart watched at school (Years 3-6 only)

Student absences-

A feature that we would like all parents to start using immediately is the Parent Notified Absences (PNA) feature.

Parents and Carers can notify the school of their child’s absence by clicking on the Parent Notified Absences link.   Absences notified by this method must be completed by 9.30am. After this time, the usual method will apply by ringing the sschool on 9807 3300. Parents are asked to inform the school of any absences as soon as possible. If a notification has not been received by the school by 9.30am, parents/carers will receive a SMS alerting them of their child’s absence.  The benefit of using this feature means that your child's absence in entered directly into the class attendance roll for the class teacher to see.  Som example screenshots can be found below-
