Principal's Message

A huge thank you to our P&C for their efforts in organising the Country Fair, and all the parents and community members for offering some of your time on the day. It was truly a wonderful day. If anyone took photos on the day, please email them to the school, so we can use them for promotion next year. We will be having a P&C meeting on Tuesday 10 March at 6:30pm in the school staffroom to do the final wrap up if you would like to join us. Everyone is more than welcome.

The P&C have generously donated $50,000 to our school. The money will be allocated for the installation of a concrete slab near our Stage 2 classrooms and OOSH. Laying the concrete is the first phase of a two part plan for the school, the second phase will be the construction of an all-weather cover to provide our students with another space to play and eat when it is wet. I am so grateful to our hard working P&C members, the executive committee and to all the parents who support their fundraising efforts.

Eglinton will be hosting the staff of Bathurst Primary School on our first Staff Development Day in Term 2. This day will see all school staff participating in professional development on Disability, Inclusion and Neurodivergence. It will be a day where staff from across the Bathurst Network can come together to learn from one another. 

Last week the District Swimming Carnival was held. Congratulations to all swimmers who competed and to those who will be competing in the Western Carnival in a few weeks.
