Armidale Catholic Schools Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to Shaun, Benji, Josie, Flo, Airlee, Will, Oscar, Freddie, Mila, Harry F and Archie, who have all qualified to represent our school at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival. They will be competing in Inverell next Friday, 27th February. We are very proud of their achievement and wish them the best of luck!

Armidale Catholic Schools Winter Trials

A massive thank you and congratulations to all the enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 students who have officially nominated to take part in the upcoming Armidale Catholic Schools Winter Trials! We are incredibly proud of your willingness to step up, showcase your athletic abilities, and potentially represent our school at the representative level.

As a reminder, these trials offer a fantastic opportunity for our students who participate in competitive hockey, football, netball, or rugby league to be considered for selection in the prestigious Diocesan teams for their respective sports. It is a great honour to be put forward, and we commend everyone who has taken this exciting step.

Expression of interest notes were sent home to the families of interested students earlier this week via Compass. If you received a form, please ensure it is completed  as soon as possible so we can finalise our school's nominations.

Please note that the Armidale Catholic Schools Winter Trials will be held in Armidale on Friday, 6th March.

SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY Term 1 Week 9 Wednesday 25th March - John Oxley Sporting Fields 

The annual Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 25th March at John Oxley Sporting Fields.

Students in Infants K-2 will run 1km, Year 3-6 students aged 8-10yrs (any year 2 student who turns 8 this year is also included in this group) will run 2km and students aged 11-12 years will run 3km. It is the age your child turns this year. 

Further information has been sent home. Soon the students will begin starting their preparations at school. Please encourage your child to prepare for this activity at home.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
