Welcome from the Parents Association

Welcome back to all returning parents and carers in 2025, and a big welcome to all families who are new to FWPS!

We are the Parents Association, a group of FWPS parents and carers who are here to provide opportunities for you to connect with your child’s school. Here are our top events and activities for Term 1.

Parent Socials at West Footscray Wines

Join us for a casual catch up during February to celebrate the beginning of a new school year and connect with other parents from your child’s class. Enjoy the $10 Wednesday wine special or simply come to connect. We look forward to seeing you on the following dates!

Grade 5 & 6 Parents: Wednesday 12th February, from 7pm
Grade 3 & 4 Parents: Wednesday 19th February, from 7pm
Grade 1 & 2 Parents: Wednesday 26th February, from 7pm

Second-Hand Uniform Shop

Our second-hand uniform shop has relocated to Habitat Haven (near the Argyle Street entrance) and we have some wonderful plans for its new home! Our first opening for the year will be on Friday, 14 February at 3:10pm, but we can't open without volunteers!

Easter Raffle Fundraiser

Our traditional Easter raffle will be run in the final weeks of Term 1. Keep an eye out for donation requests and ticket sales.

Mother’s & Special Person’s Day Stall

We are already preparing for this much loved event to be held in Term 2.
