Congratulations on 40 years teaching

Congratulations to Mr. Darren Le Gassick who attended a presentation in Melbourne on 28th May at the Pullman Ballroom, East Melbourne where the Deputy Premier of Victoria and Education Minister, Ben Carroll, presented awards to recognise Department of Education employees who have 35 or more years of service.  It was noted that there was over 6,000 years' worth of experienced teachers present that evening.  

 

Darren commenced teaching at Wedderburn High School in 1985 and has worked at Chaffey Secondary College before commencing here at Red Cliffs Secondary College in 2022.  During this time Darren has taught a variety of subjects including Art, Visual Communication and Design, Media, Maths, Science, Environment Core, STEM and coached baseball, hockey and volleyball teams.
