National Reconciliation Week 2025
National Reconciliation Week 2025 falls between 27 May and 3 June, this year’s theme is ‘Bridging Now to Next’.
This theme invites all Australians to learn more about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and explore how everyone can contribute to promoting reconciliation in our everyday lives - in our homes, workplaces, and social circles.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures.
This week we will be doing some special activities to help us focus on Reconciliation, as well as a prayer assembly to start the day on Thursday, 29 May, led by some Year 5 students.
